Call on your MP to support the implementation of the National Cancer Plan

No one living with cancer should be left struggling to access the care and support they need at one of the hardest times in their life.

The National Cancer Plan offers real opportunity for better, fairer and more joined-up cancer care, but promises alone are not enough. We need your help to make sure the Plan is implemented without further delay.

Will you ask your MP to write to the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Yvette Cooper and call on her to deliver the Plan in full.

The Plan provides an important opportunity to improve the lives of people living with cancer by:

  1. Making sure people can get more of the cancer care and support they need in their local community
  2. Ensuring everyone has a fair chance of good cancer care and outcomes, wherever they live and whatever their circumstances
  3. Giving everyone a personalised care plan, so their wider needs are identified and they can access the right support
  4. Making sure people receive consistently high-quality care and support, regardless of where they are treated
