Tell your MS Candidates: cancer care must be a priority this election

With the Senedd elections coming up, we need to make sure every political party in Wales knows that supporting people living with cancer must be at the heart of their plans. You can help by taking a minute to share our manifesto calls with your MS candidates, to make sure they keep cancer high on the agenda.

We’ve launched Macmillan’s Manifesto for the 2026 Senedd Elections, shaped by people living with cancer and professionals across Wales. Now we need to make sure the candidates hear our four key priorities loud and clear:

💚 A 10-year cancer strategy
💚 A well-supported cancer workforce
💚 A revolution in cancer data and digital infrastructure
💚 A holistic, person-centred cancer system

Macmillan hears every day from people in desperate need of support, and we need the next Welsh Government to commit to ensuring everyone with cancer in Wales gets the support they need, when they need it.
